THE MEDIA SHOPPE
History

The emergence of the Internet phenomenon and K-economy provided the impetus for three enterprising Malaysian graduates from the United States to come together to set up The Media Shoppe (TMS) in 1996.

TMS started out by developing web-based solutions for small and medium sized industries. Today, TMS has grown into one of Malaysia's leading companies in developing Internet-based applications and solutions, distributed through its global channel network in the United States, South America, United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Brunei, Denmark, Greece and Saudi Arabia.

In 1999, TMS was awarded the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) status by the government of Malaysia for its contribution to the development of flagship applications and support of Malaysia’s K-economy initiatives -
this Pioneer Status was further extended in 2004 in recognition of TMS' contributions towards producing world-standard homegrown solutions and systems.

Listed on the MESDAQ market of Bursa Malaysia, TMS has a paid-up capital of RM13 million.

These solutions are supported by its core technologies of tmsINTRANET™, tmsPUBLISHER™, tmsSEED™ and tmsSYNDICATOR™, and implemented using the TMS Transknowformance™ Methodology to help create a thriving work and learning environment that fosters a continuous creation and aggregation of organizational and personal knowledge in the pursuit of new business value.
